Alwen Bentri has his Doctoral Study for the Science Education with Cons. Curriculum Development. He was previously the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Padang State University, from 2015-to 2019. Before, he was the Head of the Research Institute from 2010-to 2015.
His research focuses on the Disaster-Based local content curriculum model in Elementary schools. Drawing on her research experience on curriculum, Alwen Bentri was involved in research for evaluation and curriculum in the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Universitas Negeri Padang. Alwen Bentri has also written some books on learning theory and curriculum in 2018-2019.
